Today was the ‘Moving Through the Silence' livestream tribute to mark the 40th anniversary of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis' death. DJ and writer Dave Haslam hosted the event which included interviews with Joy Division members Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris, The KillersBrandon Flowers and more, as well as isolation performances from Elbow, LoneLady, Maxine Peake, and more.

One of the surprises of the event was a prerecorded cover of Joy Division's "Isolation" by Mark Lanegan and Cold Cave. Their take was pretty straightforward, but both Lanegan and Wes Eisold have the pipes for this one. You can that below.
