Quebec indie rockers Mundy's Bay are releasing their debut album Lonesome Valley this Friday (3/13) via Pure Noise (pre-order), and we've got the premiere of one last pre-release single, "Seasons Pass." "The song 'Season’s Pass' is about seeing someone you love everywhere you go, and wondering if it’s the same for them," said vocalist/keyboardist Esther Mulders. "Working with [producer] Kurt [Ballou of Converge] on this song was great because he had a lot of constructive ideas about the melody. It’s a faster-paced song which can be challenging, but in the end it became something we were both really happy with.”

It is indeed on the faster side; it's fueled by a driving, Cure-ish guitar riff, but Mundy's Bay do it in a way that's more like rawer '90s indie-punk. It comes with a grainy, black and white video that recalls the VHS era as much as the song itself. Check it out below.

Mundy's Bay are also about to begin their tour with Hunny (who are headlining) and Bay Faction, which hits Brooklyn's Elsewhere Zone One on Tuesday (3/17) (tickets). All dates are listed below.
