watch St. Vincent cover Led Zeppelin's "Dancing Days"

Quarantine covers have become something of a thing, with musicians including Ben Gibbard, The Tallest Man on Earth, Colin Meloy, Jeff Tweedy, Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee, Hayley Williams, Angel Olsen doing stripped down, solo takes on other bands’ material. Now St. Vincent has hopped onboard the trend, too, with a cover of Led Zeppelin‘s “Dancing Days.” It’s only a partial cover, but it’s cool to hear Annie Clark turn this riffy Zeppelin classic into a stripped-down acoustic song, and put her own spin on it vocally too. You can watch below.

“The moderately-played, half-remembered partial-cover of Led Zepplin’s ‘Dancing Days’ that the world has been clamoring for FOR YEARS at long last,” she describes the video.

St. Vincent is set to perform at the BAM Virtual Gala, which streams on May 13 at 8 PM ET.
