Black Angels

watch The Black Angels' new video, win tix to their NYC show with Black Lips!

Contemporary psych greats The Black Angels returned last year with Death Song, which was produced by Built to Spill/Shins collaborator Phil Ek and is their best sounding album yet. We’re now premiering the video for “Half Believing” from that album. The band’s guitarist Christian Bland tells us, “The idea was to create a ‘mini Twilight Zone’ episode where a man’s life flashes before his very eyes before he enters eternity. Where he ends up, no one knows.” Watch below.

As you may remember, The Black Angels are touring with fellow “black” band The Black Lips this year (“together at last!”), and that tour includes a NYC show on April 5 at Brooklyn Steel. We hear that show is almost sold out, so you might wanna buy tickets soon, and we’re also giving away a pair on Facebook. Go HERE to enter. A winner will be chosen at random at contacted with more details.

The tour also hits Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on April 7 (tickets) and many other cities. All dates are listed below.
