They've just shared the teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, which will be in theaters this December 20. It's a pretty meaty teaser, a full two minutes, with lightsabers vs tie-fighters, the return of Lando Calrissian, a glimpse of Leia, Rey, Chewie, C-3PO, BB8, more lightsabers, angsty Adam Driver, and more. JJ Abrams is back in the directors chair for this one after Rian Johnson helming 2017's somewhat divisive The Last Jedi. Watch the teaser below.

In other news, if you're wanting to stream all the other Star Wars films, you'll soon have to subscribe to Disney Plus which will launch later this year and be home to all things Star Wars, including the new series The Mandalorian which is being made especially for the streaming service. The Star Wars movies that are on Netflix now will leave the service before year's end. Disney+ will also be home to Marvel, Pixar, The Simpsons and, of course, all of Disney's movies. Disney also owns Hulu, which is where some of Marvel's upcoming more adult-oriented animated series will stream, as well as ESPN Plus, and there will likely be a bundle that allows you to subscribe for a lower price. More details still to come but Disney Plus launches November 12.
