After taking requests two weeks ago, The Tallest Man on Earth continued his weekly livestream series on Friday (5/1) with another collection of covers. Last week's all-covers show included renditions of Neutral Milk Hotel, Mazzy Star, Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, Jackson C. Frank, Bonny Light Horseman, Adele, Joni Mitchell, and more. This week Kristian Matsson performed a few of his own songs, including "Little Nowhere Towns," "This Wind," "There's No Leaving Now," and "Thrown Right At Me," but dedicated most of the time, once again, to covers. He took on songs by Bob Dylan ("Don't Think Twice, It's All Right"), Neil Young ("Razor Love"), Aretha Franklin ("I Say a Little Prayer" and part of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman"), Sufjan Stevens ("Mystery of Love"), The Shins ("New Slang"), Big Thief ("Masterpiece"), David Bazan ("Lost My Shape"), and more, teased The National's "Pink Rabbits," and yes, included a cover of DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince's Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song.
