Tallest Man on Earth has been doing weekly livestreams on Fridays and, as mentioned, after an episode two weeks ago, when Kristian Matsson covered Bruce Springsteen, Bon Iver, Joni Mitchell, and Damien Jurado, he announced that he’d be doing an all-requests, all-covers set. That happened today, and Kristian did renditions of songs by Neutral Milk Hotel ( a medley of “Two-Headed Boy,” In the Aeroplane Over the Sea,” and “King of Carrot Flowers Part I”), Mazzy Star (“Fade Into You,” which, performed on a banjo, sounds unlike you’ve ever heard it before), Vampire Weekend (“Unbelievers”), Bon Iver (“re:Stacks”), Bonny Light Horseman (“The Roving”), Joni Mitchell (“Come In From the Cold”), Adele (“When We Were Young”), Jackson Browne/Nico (“These Days”), and more.
