After a few weeks away while he relocated from upstate New York to his native Sweden, The Tallest Man on Earth returned for his weekly livestream today (5/29). Still suffering from jet lag, Kristian Matsson said that he hadn't been getting much sleep, nor had he gotten to practicing the numerous song requests people have been sending in. Despite all that, he still played a lovely set with quite a few covers, including Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds ("Into My Arms"), Bob Dylan ("Every Grain of Sand"), Leonard Cohen ("Famous Blue Raincoat"), Emmylou Harris and Daniel Lanois ("Where Will I Be?"), and Dolly Parton ("I Will Always Love You," which he's previously teased and said he still wanted to do a full version of). He also did a couple of traditional songs, "Silver Dagger" and "Hang Me, Oh Hang Me," played "I Know Him So Well" from the musical Chess, and included some of his own music, included a version of "Dark Bird is Home" on piano, as it was originally written. Watch the whole stream, and see the setlist, below.

Now that he's back in Sweden, Kristian will resume livestreaming weekly, and at one point he said, "I will try to learn something by Frightened Rabbit for the next one," which is exciting!
