Hot Water Music are currently on a UK/EU tour with former Avail singer Tim Barry. Tim frequently shoots down talk of an Avail reunion, but on this tour, he's been joining Hot Water Music on stage to play Avail's 1996 classic "Simple Song"! Though Tim remains focused on his folky solo career, he had no trouble roaring through "Simple Song" just like the old days. If they ever do reunite, Tim would definitely be ready for it. Watch a well-shot video of Hot Water Music and Tim Barry doing "Simple Song" in Germany last night, below.

We haven't seen the full setlist from Germany, but we did see the setlist from the London show the night before, and they did "Simple Song" together at that show too. Hot Water Music, who currently share drummer George Rebelo with The Bouncing Souls, also played the Souls' "True Believers" in London.

Tim has a handful of US tour dates coming up, including The Bouncing Souls' big "Stoked for the Summer" show at Asbury Park's Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 4 with Against Me!, Titus Andronicus, and Smoking Popes (tickets). Will he do an Avail song that day too? Hey, he and George already know it...

Tim also announced headlining shows at New Haven's Space Ballroom (6/28) and Jersey City's Monty Hall (6/30) this week. Both are with Roger Harvey and NJ is also with Restorations (tickets).
