Wavves announce 'King of the Beach' 12th anniversary tour

Back in 2020, Wavves were supposed to do a 10th anniversary tour for their stoner beach punk classic King of the Beach, but it couldn’t happen due to the pandemic. Now, on the appropriately timed day of 4/20, Wavves has announced plans to once again play the album in full on tour, this time on a 12th anniversary tour going down this summer. BOYO and Smut are opening.

Things kick off in Ventura, CA in July and wrap up in Los Angeles in August, and Wavves are hitting tons of other US and Canadian cities in between, including NYC-area shows at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on August 10 and Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on August 11. An artist presale for the whole tour is underway now (password = KINGOFTHEBEACH) and the general public on-sale begins Friday (4/22) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
