Fellow dark/heavy outfits Wax Idols and King Woman have announced a tour together for May and June. After kicking things off in the Midwest, the bands will make their way to NYC for a show at Saint Vitus on June 4, where local support will be provided by Primitive Weapons. (Wax Idols just played Vitus a few weeks ago). Tickets for that show are on sale now.

While we wait for a full-length follow-up to King Woman's 2014 LP, Doubt, vocalist Kristina Esfandiari (also of Whirr) just released a new solo LP called Uncontrollable under the her Miserable moniker. It's, well, pretty miserable (in a good way). You can listen to that below.
