In celebration of new documentary Industrial Accident: The Story of Wax Trax! Records and Record Store Day, they're touring the film with special events featuring live performances by Ministry (doing an all '80s/early-'90s set), Cold Cave and a panel discussion with Paul Barker (Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Pigface), Chris Connelly (Ministry, Revolting Cocks, KMFDM), documentary director Julia Nash, Rick Wojcik (Dusty Groove Records owner), and Record Store Day’s Carrie Colton. Shows happen in Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto, Austin, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and they've just announced venue and free ticket details. Here's where the shows are happening:

  • 4/13: Chicago, IL @ House of Vans Chicago
  • 4/15: Brooklyn, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
  • 4/17: Toronto, CA @ Danforth Music Hall
  • 4/19: Austin, TX @ Fair Market
  • 4/22: San Francisco, CA @ Great American Music Hall
  • 4/23: Los Angeles, CA @ Teragram Ballroom

All the events are free and there's two ways to get tickets, both of which happen at the cities' participating independent record stores on Record Store Day: If you buy the Industrial Accident soundtrack, you get VIP access with guaranteed entry and access to the film screening and Q&A. The record stores will also have a limited number of free general admission tickets available, no purchase necessary, which only gets you into the performance part of the event (not guaranteed, entry based on capacity).

For the Brooklyn event at Music Hall of Williamsburg, you'll need to go to Rough Trade, Academy Records, or Generation Records on Record Store Day to score tickets.
