Weekend streaming 'Jinx' in full, playing NYC release show next week (updated dates)

Weekend‘s second album, Jinx, isn’t out till next week (7/23) but you can stream the whole thing right now over at NPR. If you’re a fan at all of mid-’80s style gothy postpunk (Chameleons, The Sound, Comsat Angels), Jinx will hit the sweet spot. It’s a great record.

The band will play an NYC release show the same day the record is out at Clocktower Gallery. The only way to get tickets is to pre-order Jinx (LP or CD) via Insound. If you can’t make Tuesday’s show, Weekend are also opening for Medicine at MHOW on August 16 and will be touring with Chicago’s Disappears in the fall. (Still no NYC dates for that tour.)
