Weezer add intimate acoustic show at Rough Trade NYC to tour, share "L.A. Girlz" video (updated dates)

Weezer‘s upcoming tour already includes a sold-out NYC show on March 30 at Warsaw, which is very intimate for them, and now they added one that’s even more intimate. They’re hitting Rough Trade on April 1. It’s an acoustic show, but still a rare chance to see them this up close and personal. You have to buy a copy of their new album from the Rough Trade store to get in. It’s a 6 PM show and there will be a signing afterwards.

As previously mentioned, in the summer they’ll go on a much less appealing tour with Panic! at the Disco and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness that includes large NYC-area shows at Jones Beach on 6/30 and PNC Bank Arts Center on 7/2 (tickets). Updated dates are listed below.

Their new album, which is self-titled and will be referred to as “The White Album,” comes out April 1 and they just released another song off of it, “L.A. Girlz.” It’s a poppy rocker that sounds more or less how you expect Weezer to sound these days. You can watch the video below.
