Weird Al playing with an orchestra on "Strings Attached" 2019 tour

Weird Al spent most of this year eschewing his parody hits in favor of his original songs and deep cuts, played acoustically, on the “Ill-Advised Vanity tour.” With that minimal itch scratched, Weird Al will go maximalist in 2019 with the “Strings Attached” tour, featuring all the hits, costumes, props, video walls, a full band and back-up singers and…a full symphony orchestra.

The tour kicks off in June in Florida and currently runs through September 1 in Arkansas. Weird Al hits NYC at Forest Hills Stadium on July 20. Tickets for Forest Hills, and most dates on the tour, go on sale Friday, November 16 at 10 AM local time with presales for Forest Hills staring Tuesday (11/13) at 10 AM.
