Western Addiction made a video for “Honeycreeper,” begin tour this week
San Francisco punks Western Addiction returned this year with Tremulous, their first album in 12 years, and they've since made a video for the song "Honeycreeper." Directed by Josh Robertson, the video splices together tons of grainy, black-and-white footage, including shots of the band performing. It was shot on Super 8, and vocalist Jason Hall told us, "We are properly shrouded in watery darkness to protect the viewer. The song is about a person trying to walk the line but they are actually riding the lightning." The video premieres below. In case you missed it, read Jason's track-by-track breakdown of the new album.
Western Addiction's short tour with Fat Wreck Chords labelmates Night Birds begins this Thursday (7/27) at Monty Hall in Jersey City (tickets), and continues in Philly on Friday (7/28) and Cambridge on Saturday (7/29). Western Addiction also play The Fest in October.
