Weyes Blood releasing collaborative EP with Ariel Pink (listen to "Tears on Fire")
Weyes Blood, who released the gorgeous Front Row Seat to Earth last year, was the Recording Artist in Residence at Mexican Summer’s 2016 Marfa Myths festival, and from those sessions comes a new collaborative EP with Ariel Pink due out January 27. The lead track from the EP is “Tears on Fire,” which draws from Weyes Blood’s lovely folk and Ariel’s innate weirdness. You can catch Weyes Blood at the 2017 Marfa Myths where she’ll be performing a collaborative set with Perfume Genius. (Members of Dungen & Woods are this year’s Artists in Residence.) After that she’ll play Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 30 (tickets). She’s added other dates as well and all are listed below.
