Last fall, WFMU reclaimed the ground floor space in their building at 43 Montgomery St in Jersey City, NJ with plans to turn it into a performance space. That’s finally happening with the grand opening on July 12 featuring performances by Pampers, Watery Love, Doug Gillard, and Spectre Folk. Tickets are $12 and all proceeds go to benefit WFMU.

UPDATE: the space is now called Monty Hall.

July 12 looks to be a busy day, with the 4Knots Music Fest and the Exploding in Sound’s all day party happening as well.
