What are DEVO about to announce?
Something is stirring in the world of proto-punk/punk/post-punk/new-wave icons Devo. On their Facebook this morning they wrote, “We’re going to have news you’ll want to be the first to know about VERY SOON.” As to what that news is, we’ll know soon. New album? Tour? Devo haven’t been on the road since 2014, apart from a couple one-off shows (like the 2018 Burger Boogaloo).
UPDATE: Devo are playing Desert Daze 2019 which will kick off a farewell tour.

Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh is interviewed in new book No Encore! where he tells a story about being taken to infamous disco-era NYC club Studio 54 where he hung out with Michael Jackson and Andy Warhol.
