New Paltz, NY’s What Moon Things are set to release their self-titled debut album on June 3 via Hot Grits. On the first single, “The Astronaut,” these guys mix big, emotive vocals with a gloomy post-punk atmosphere, as you can hear for yourself by downloading it above or streaming below. What Moon Things have a tour coming up which kicks off with a Kingston, NY show with Porches, Frankie Cosmos, Palehound and others, and then hits NYC on May 31 at Suburbia with The Gradients, Wet Petals, Living Room and Big Neck Police. The tour also includes shows in other local-ish places (mostly college towns) including Binghamton, Ithaca, Cornwall, Montclair, New Paltz, Albany, Long Island and more.
