Coliseum @ Knitting Factory in May (more by Greg Cristman)

Browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows. Here are some highlights...

Raspberry Bulbs, Thought Broadcast, Shoxx @ Saint Vitus Bar
Raspberry Bulbs celebrate their new burner, Deformed Worship, tonight, a raucous mix of clean-tone punk with black metal overtones. The record is a clear standout for one of the best of the year. DO NOT miss Shoxx, one of the most underrated punk bands in NYC, who open the evening.

Coliseum, Sanhet, My America @ The Acheron
Invisible Oranges host a FREE show at Acheron tonight, featuring Sannhet, My America and the lovely lads from Louisville punk mainstays Coliseum. Check out the band's Sister Faith record, out now via TRL.

The Shine Brothers @ Passenger Bar (FREE)
Featuring former members of Black Angels and Woven Bones, The Shine Brothers band bang out fuzzy psych, as heard on their recent Burger Records release, Hello Griefbirds!

The Fantastic Plastics, 23 Pseagz, Ghost and Goblin, Mindtroll @ Cameo Gallery
You may have caught Brooklyn's riot grrrl-inspired Mindtroll at Philly's Ladyfest this past June. They've since released a full length record of witty post-punk, And That's Just Some Of The Good Ones, which you can stream below. And head to Cameo tonight to catch them as part of a four-band bill.

Ex-Wife, Wild Rice, Very Rare, Slonk Donkerson @ Death By Audio
Two New Brunswick bands, Ex-Wife and Wild Rice, just played in their hometown over the weekend with Kal Marks, and they're heading over to Brooklyn tonight for a show at Death by Audio. Ex-Wife's recently released post-punky New Colors LP is especially great, and you can stream that below.

Cloud Control, Modern Rivals, James Bay, Make Good @ Mercury Lounge
Fans of anthemic "whoa-oh" style indie will want to be at Glasslands tonight for Australia's Cloud Control, whose single "Dojo Rising" is undeniably catchy.

Turnip King, Britches, Frankie Teardrop, Mannequin Pussy, Warcries @ Silent Barn
A mostly local bill headlined by Sea Cliff's Turnip King, the line-up does also include St. Louis noisepunks Britches.

Old Monk, The Fleeting Ends, Dylan Seeger @ Spike Hill
Old Monk have been releasing a series of digital singles this year all of which have been pretty good. If you dig Pavement-style indie rock, definitely worth a look.

Silversun Pickups, Mona @ The Capitol Theatre
Silversun Pickups aren't hitting NYC on their current tour, but they're in the area for tonight's Port Chester show and Wednesday's Long Island show.

Beyonce @ Barclays Center
Beyonce wraps up her 3-night run at Barclays Center tonight. If you missed these, or just need more Bey in your life, she'll be back for one more gig at the venue this December.

Butter The Children, Violent Past, Czech Neck @ The Paper Box
NYC pop shoegazers continue to play local shows relentlessly, and tonight you can catch them in Brooklyn at The Paper Box.
