You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Xenia Rubinos, Shilpa Ray, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Northern Arms @ Baby’s All Right
While Xenia Rubinos and Shilpa Ray — both exciting performers — are reason enough to go to this show, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion have been added to the bill as a warm-up for their European tour.

TV Ghost @ Baby’s All Right
Stick around after the JSBX/Xenia show for a free midnight performance from Indiana’s TV Ghost. They’re sorta in the Nick Cave dark postpunk vein.

Tunic, Yonatan Gat, Bueno, Conduct @ Death by Audio
Winnipeg, Manitoba’s punky Tunic headline this show that also features onetime Monotonix frontman Yonatan Gat.

Justin Timberlake @ Hammerstein Ballroom
Justin Timberlake may be one of our biggest pop stars, but his last album had more in common with the indie pop/R&B crossover than most of what he’s played next to on the radio. Normally JT is playing arenas and stadiums, but tonight he’s at the much smaller Hammerstein ballroom.

Gorilla Biscuits, Bouncing Souls, Turnstile @ House of Vans
It’s a killer punk double bill at House of Vans tonight with NYC hardcore vets Gorilla Biscuits (whose Walter Schreifels was recently busy with his other veteran band, Quicksand) and NJ melodic punk vets The Bouncing Souls. RSVP is full, and even if you RSVPed entry is first come, first served.

DIIV, LODRO, Regal Degal @ MHOW
DIIV are working out new material on the road, so expect a lot of new material tonight.

Yung Lean @ Palisades
Teenage Swedish rapper Yung Lean is currently in the US. This is his third (and smallest by far) NYC show of the week.

Wild Beasts, Mutual Benefit @ Pier 84, Hudson River Park
The first of three River Rocks shows has sultry UK band Wild Beasts as headliners, with Brooklyn’s Mutual benefit as well. If you get there early, you may see BV’s Bill Pearis DJing before the bands. Free, doors at 6 PM>

Bambara, Life Size Maps, Baby Acid, Turnip King, Haybaby @ Shea Stadium
A top-to-bottom solid lineup of Brooklyn bands, headlined by the excedingly loud Bambara. Seriously, the whole bill is good.

Hot Chip (DJ Set), KLANGKARUSSELL (DJ Set), Alex English, Headband & Hooligan @ Verboten
Ahead of his solo show at Rough Trade next week, Hot Chip singer Alexis Taylor will spin tunes tonight.

Aerosmith, Slash @ Jones Beach
If you dream of the good ol’ days of hard rock, there may be nowhere better to be than Jones Beach tonight.

Jacuzzi, Nadus, Obey City, Budo Kiba Collective, Subset @ Output
Jacuzzi comes all the way from Honolulu to headline this 5-artist bill for Output’s weekly INPUT party tonight.

Computer Magic @ MoMA
MoMA Nights series continues this week with the charming electronic pop of Brooklyn’s Computer Magic. Free with museum entry.
