You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Yellow Ostrich, Tei Shi, Norwegian Arms, Belle Mare @ Glasslands
Not only is this Yellow Ostrich’s last show at Glasslands, which is closes at the end of the month, but their last show ever. The band are splitting amicably and frontman Alex Schaaf is already working on a new project.  Catch them one last time, with opener Tei Shi and others.

Swet Shop Boys, Wiki (of RatKing) @ Baby’s All Right
Former Das Racist member Heems teamed up with British rapper/actor Riz MC (aka Riz Ahmed) and the duo released their Swet Shop EP on Heems’ Greedhead label earlier this year. It’s got production from Lushline, Lynas, Ryan Hemsworth and DADRAS, and it’s more proof that Heems has pretty much been on fire this year.

Mirah @ a living room in Ditmas Park
Mirah has been busy this year, releasing a new album and going on multiple tours. This current one’s a little different, she’s playing in fan’s living rooms. Where, exactly, the Ditmas Park show will be is a secret — till you buy a ticket.

Angel Olsen, Lionlimb @ Bowery Ballroom
Angel Olsen’s varied 2014 album goes from somber folk to upbeat indie rock and it’s rightfully been appearing on a bunch of year-end lists already. Tonight she plays the second of her three NYC shows on this tour.

Landlady @ Mercury Lounge
Landlady main man Adam Schatz has organized this “Holiday Spectacular” featuring Luke Temple, Celestial Shore, Xenia Rudios and more. The show is a benefit for The Bushwick School of Music.

Jamie T, Made Violent @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Carry on the Grudge is Jamie T’s first album in five years and finds the UK artist mixing electronics  with more traditional singer-songwriter styles. The record has shown up on more than a few end-of-year lists, including NME, Q, and Uncut.

Smashing Pumpkins @ Webster Hall
The Smashing Pumpkins release  their new album Monuments To An Elegy on December 9, and are playing four release shows happening in Berlin, London, Paris and tonight in New York.

Conor Oberst, Natalie Merchant, The Felice Brothers, Laura Marling, The Lone Bellow, Jonathan Wilson, Suzanne Vega @ Beacon Theatre
It’s the 10th annual WFUV Holiday Cheer benefit concert, with a host of talented performers and proceeds going to the eclectic NYC radio station.

Night Train w/ Wyatt Cenac @ Littlefield
Wyatt Cenac’s weekly show tonight features appearances by Ari Shaffir, Janine Brito, Mehran Khaghani, and Shane Torres.

Crowbar, Unearth, Black Crown Initiate, Divider @ Saint Vitus

Eugene Mirman, Reggie Watts, Sarah Vowell, Fred Armisen @ The Bell House
Here’s another benefit for kids’ creative writing program 826NYC featuring a host of funny folks.

Dej Loaf, Boldy James, Kiyanne & Spank Jus Bizness @ SOB’s
