Shilpa Ray & Her Happy Hookers play at The Stone. Screaming Females open for Dinosaur Jr. at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

The Phenomenal Handclap Band got written up three times today…they have a show tonight…(also at Santos will be Adult Swim, The Woggles, Cheeseburger, A.C. Newman and the Pontani Sisters.

St. Vincent and Pattern Is Movement have been touring together. Tonight she plays the Bell House with Tim Fite and JBM. Pattern Is Movement plays Union Hall with Bell and Inlets.

Johann Johannsson makes his U.S. debut and kicks off an East Coast tour tonight at (Le) Poisson Rouge (with early and late shows). ACME (American Contemporary Music Ensemble) will join Johann and play an opening set.

Magik Markers, Mouthus and Soft Circle play the Silent Barn (at a Sleep When Dead show curated by Strength in Numbers).
