The two-day Musicka Mystica Maxima fest happens at Santos tonight and tomorrow. Tonight’s bill includes Genesis Breyer P-Orridge with Thee Majesty, Amber Asylum, Arrington De Dionyso (of Old Time Relijun), fest curator Larkin Grimm and Nautical Almanac.

Despite pressure from the Cool Kids, it seems Teenage Cool Kids are still called Teenage Cool Kids. They’re at Silent Barn with Knight School and others tonight.

Maximo Park were supposed to play Webster Hall tonight.

Tonight’s Fanfarlo and Wildbirds & Peacedrums show at Bowery Ballroom includes DJing from Jonsi (of Sigur Ros) and Alex (aka Riceboy Sleeps). Riceboy Sleeps is not on the bill tomorrow at the Bell House.

Ty Segall plays a pre-Goner Fest show with Digital Leather and tourmates The Mantles at Maxwell’s tonight. Joining him at Goner Fest will be Reigning Sound who just announced some NYC-area dates of their own.

Moby plays Irving Plaza with Kelli Scarr (of Moonraker) tonight. On Wednesday (9/23) he plays Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Rain Machine (Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio) plays The Bell House with Sharon Van Etten and Candles of Paradise.

The Decemberists and Laura Veirs & The Hall of Flames did Terminal 5 on September 19th. Tonight they perform at Wellmont Theatre.

Death By Audio (& The Maze) hosts Sam Mickens & Mike Pride Duo, Jantar, Nsumi, Pepi Ginsberg and Love Like Deloreans.

Two Monday residencies continues: The Roots play Highline Ballroom and Rev. Vince Anderson & His Love Choir play Union Pool.
