You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Lee Ranaldo Electric Trim Trio, Anthony Pasquarosa, Flylords @ Union Pool
Former Sonic Youth guitarist/vocalist and consistently great solo artist Lee Ranaldo is celebrating the release of his new Electric Trim Live at Rough Trade East album with this hometown one-off with his Electric Trim Trio.

A Darlene Love Christmas @ Sony Hall
Darlene Love — who sang “White Christmas,” “Marshmallow World,” “Winter Wonderland,” and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home”) on A Christmas Gift For You from Phil Spector — is back with her annual holiday run.

A Murray Little Christmas: Murray Hill, Bridget Everett, Angie Pontani & More @ Union Hall
Cabaret fixture and drag king Murray Hill hosts the annual “A Murray Little Christmas” show, with a great lineup of guests included the unexpurgated Bridget Everett. Early show.

Justin Vivian Bond is Refrigerated @ Joe’s Pub
Cabaret legend and one half of iconic duo Kiki & Herb, Justin Vivian Bond presents this holiday show where “the elite and the sandwich meet, Jesus is in the cheeses, and the Goddess’ dressing is on the side. If the power holds the patriarchy will soon be crushed ice! That’s cold!” Late show.

Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg @ Gramercy Theatre
It’s the 40th anniversary of Road To Ruin, the first Ramones album with Marky (who’s the only surviving member from that album), and one of the celebrations is this holiday show where Marky is promising to play “40 Ramones classics.” Marky has original Circle Jerks/Redd Kross guitarist and longtime (but now former) Bad Religion guitarist Greg Hetson in his band now, so that means two living punk legends will grace the stage tonight. Sweetening the deal even more, Gramercy Theatre is screening the classic Ramones movie Rock N Roll High School (which Marky is in) at this show.

Reggie and the Full Effect (solo), Andy Jackson (Hot Rod Circuit) @ Saint Vitus
Reggie and the Full Effect leader (and Get Up Kids keyboardist) James Dewees and Hot Rod Circuit frontman Andy Jackson are on the road together for this brief tour which finds both emo veterans in rare solo form.
