What's going on Friday? (Zero, zip, zilch, nada. Stay home.)

There are officially no shows in NYC and the surrounding area, as only essential businesses are currently allowed to operate. Most major venues in the city had already closed as a precautionary measure, anyway.

Some of of the NYC-area shows that were originally supposed to happen tonight included Caribou at Brooklyn Steel, Holly Herndon at BAM, Half Waif at Public Records, The Rapture at The Rainbow Room, Microwave at Rough Trade, Pissed Jeans at Saint Vitus, HR at Bowery Electric, Polica at Webster Hall, and more.

Though there aren’t any concerts to attend in person, you can livestream some from the comfort of your own home, including Elvis Costello, Colin Meloy, Little Dragon, Jehnny Beth Reading Erotic Short Stories, A-Trak, Half Waif, Peter Bjorn And John, John Vanderslice, Big Freedia, John Cameron Mitchell, Porridge Radio, Hamilton Leithauser, and more! More info in our daily livestreams post.
