Tom Morello has taken some time away from Prophets of Rage to release a solo album, Th Atlas Underground, which features loads of huge guests across hip hop, indie rock, EDM, punk, and more. The album comes out in a couple weeks, but first he’s touring. He plays LPR tonight and tomorrow.

The Natvral (Kip from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart) @ Rough Trade
Kip from Pains is focusing on his new stripped-down solo project, The Natvral, and he celebrates the release of his debut EP tonight. Free show, 7 PM.

Evan Dando, Sensational Country Blues Wonders @ WFMU Monty Hall
The head Lemonhead is currently on a tour of very intimate venues (Wonders of Nature hold about 40 people). No surprise, this is sold out.

J. Cole, Young Thug, Jaden Smith, Earthgang @ Madison Square Garden
J Cole is touring behind his massive new album KOD, and tonight’s his first NYC show since its release. Support comes from Young Thug (who just dropped the On the Rvn EP), Jaden Smith, and Earthgang who are signed to Cole’s Dreamville Records.
