Outside Lands 2017 - Sunday
The Who at Outside Lands 2017 (more by Moses Namkung)

What's going on Monday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

The Who @ Madison Square Garden
In recent years, both Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend went on orchestral tours performing different Who albums in full, and now they’re back together and doing an orchestral Who tour together. Neither Pete nor Roger has lost it one bit, so this should be a great night all around filled with classic songs.

Lizzo, Tayla Parx @ Brooklyn Steel
Lizzo is having an incredible year, having just released new LP Cuz I Love You, and having sold out two nights at Brooklyn Steel this week and Terminal 5 later this month, with two Radio City Music Hall shows on the horizon in September.

Butterboy Comedy @ Littlefield
Aparna Nancherla and Maeve Higgins host their weekly Butterboy comedy show at Littlefield tonight, with guests Katie Compa (San Francisco Sketchfest), Kenny Deforest (Late Night with Seth Meyers), Nonye Brown-West (New York Comedy Festival), Kyle Ayers (Boast Rattle, Montreal Comedy Festival), Danny Jolles (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Late Show w/ Stephen Colbert), and Donnie Sengstack (Caroline’s Breakout Artist).

Sound Mind: A Mental Health Benefit Concert w/ Langhorne Slim, Torres, Rosie Carney, Aparna Nancharla, Rage Almighty @ Rough Trade
In addition to Butterboy, Aparna Nancherla will also make an appearance at this special event at Rough Trade created by Sound Mind, a movement which “brings together artists, speakers, and organizations to build a supportive community around mental health.” Proceeds from the show will benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC).

Bobcat Goldthwait, Dana Gould @ The Bell House
Two comedy legends have teamed up for “The Show with Two Heads” tour: Bobcat was a popular standup and actor before writing and directing cult films Shakes the Clown and World’s Greatest Dad; while Dana Gould has written for such shows as The Simpsons, Seinfeld, The Ben Stiller Show and created cult MTV series Super Adventure Team.

J.I.D, Saba, Mereba, King Mez @ Irving Plaza
J.I.D and Saba return for a second night at Irving Plaza as part of the former’s “Catch Me If You Can Tour,” and they’ll be joined by two great North Carolina-based openers: rapper King Mez and singer Mereba.

Bridget Everett @ Joe’s Pub
Backed by her band The Tender Moments, Bridget Everett provides an extremely unexpurgated night of comedy and music that may not be for the easily embarrassed.
