You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Sam Amidon, Shahzad Ismaily, Ben Goldberg @ Le Poisson Rouge
Part of 2017 Winter Jazzfest, vocalist Sam Amidon leads a cast of improvising musicians who “will support, reflect and challenge Amidon’s music, including bassist and multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily, clarinetist Ben Goldberg.”

Bang On A Can (all-stars) @ Kaufman Center
It’s Ecstatic Music Festival time once again, where modern composers meet forward-thinking pop musicians. The 2017 program begins, as usual, with Bang on a Call All-Stars People’s Commissioning Fund Concert

Boytoy, Roya, GODS, Winstons @ Baby’s All Right
This is the kickoff show for Boytoy’s tour and it also features fellow indie pop act Roya, and more.

Chris Gethard, Leapling, Joe Pera, Dan Licata, Spit @ Sunnyvale
The very funny Chris Gethard continues to rise in the world (with his own show on Fusion and a notable role on Broad City) but he still likes to tell jokes at small punk/indie rock shows (and sometimes sing at them too), which he’ll do tonight.

Mike Birbiglia @ Union Hall
While Mike Birbiglia can fill big venues these days, he still stops by Union Hall to test new material at shows he calls “Working it Out.”

Night Train w/ Wyatt Cenac @ Littlefield
All aboard Wyatt Cenac’s weekly comedy cavalcade, tonight with guests Alingon Mitra, Tiff Stevenson, Morgan Miller, Geoffrey Asmus, Dean Edwards, Clark Jones, and more.

For all of tonight’s shows, and tomorrow’s, check out our NYC concert calendar.

For laughs, check out the NYC Comedy calendar too.
