The Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh puts on great shows no matter what band he has with him, but this two-night stand in Brooklyn sounds extra special. He’s bringing his Terrpain Family Band, the band he normally only plays the West Coast with. This is night 2.

Talented and prolific guitarist Jim Campilongo has performed with Norah Jones, Gillian Welch, Nels Cline, and countless others. Tonight he does two trio sets at Rockwood Music Hall.

Ophira Eisengberg hosts NPR’s “rambunctious hour that blends brainteasers and local pub trivia night with comedy and music.” Tonight’s guest is comedian Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr.

Jon Ronson and Maeve Higgins host this assemblage of “the finest brains and smartest mouths NYC has to offer.”
Night Train w/ Wyatt Cenac @ Littlefield (Season 2 Taping, two shows)
Wyatt Cenac turned his weekly Littlefield comedy show into a series for all-comedy streaming site Seeso, and they’re taping Season 2 this week. Tonight they’re taping two shows: the early show is with Chris Gethard, Marina Franklin, Josie Long, and Baron Vaughn (sold out); the late show is with Jonah Ray, Melissa Villasenor, Giulia Rozzi, Will Miles, and more.
