What's going on Monday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Diana Ross @ New York City Center
As a staple of Motown’s early ’60s era, the disco era, and plenty of the in-between, the legendary Diana Ross can sing just about anything. Tonight she begins a five-show run at the New York City Center.

Rise Against, Dead Heavens @ House of Vans
Melodic punk band Rise Against just announced a new album, Wolves, which they’ll be previewing at tonight’s free show. Opening is post-hardcore legend Walter Schreifels’ psych band Dead Heavens.

PVRIS, neaux @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
The Warped Tour and Coachella worlds continue to collide, and PVRIS pretty much sound like both at once. Tonight they play this free, intimate show, opened by neaux, the shoegaze band of former Warped musician Sierra Kay.

Acid Mothers Temple, Babylon @ Monty Hall
Japanese freakout greats Acid Mothers Temple make their almost yearly sojourn to the U.S. and this is the first of two NYC-area shows.

Night Train w/ guest host Aparna Nancherla @ Littlefield
The very funny Aparna Nancherla fills in for Night Train creator Wyatt Cenac tonight, welcoming guests James Adomian, Jermaine Fowler, Byron Bowers, Nour Hadidi, Ryan Beck, Ester Steinberg, and more.
