What's going on Monday?

Feist
Feist

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Feist @ Town Hall
Pleasure, Feist’s first album in 6 years, is the rawest and darkest thing she’s ever released and has her favoring ambition over sticking to a formula that already works. It’s got some of the best songs of her career, and seeing her perform these songs live should be really special. This is the last of three shows at NYC’s Town Hall.

Freddie Gibbs, Remy Banks, Scholito Envoy @ Highline Ballroom
Freddie Gibbs returned this year with You Only Live 2wice, and if you’re looking for a modern rap album with real bars, this one’s for you.

Night Train w/ guest host Sasheer Zamata @ Littlefield
Sasheer Zamata fills in for regular host Wyatt Cenac tonight, welcoming guests Langston Kerman, Emma Willmann, Mike Lebovitz, Sean Patton, and Rae Sanni.

Happyness, Brute Force, Haybaby @ Our Wicked Lady
Uk band Happyness backed R. Stevie Moore & Jason Falkner at shows at SXSW, and tonight they’ll do the same for cult folk musician Brute Force (whose single “The King of Fuh” was released on Apple Records). They’ll do their own set as well (their own music falls comfortably between Wilco and Pavement). This should be fun show.
