It’s Fourth of July Weekend! Check out our guide to Fourth of July Weekend events in NYC. You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights...

Mega Bog, Sitcom, Lina Tullgren @ The Glove
Erin Birgy makes jazzy, wonderfully off-kilter pop as Mega Bog. If you like Cate Le Bon, give her new album Happy Together a spin...and she's terrific live, too.

Fotocrime, The Austerity Program, Body Stuff @ Saint Vitus
This is a cool show all around, with former Coliseum member Ryan Patterson's new Fotocrime project, post-hardcore rippers The Austerity Program, and Curran Reynolds' (Today is the Day, Wetnurse) Body Stuff project. It's free.

Busdriver, Zeroh, Buttress, Warren Britt @ Brooklyn Night Bazaar
LA rapper Busdriver is currently on tour testing out material for his forthcoming LP (which would be his first in a couple years).

Have today off? You might consider heading into the air conditioned comfort of your local theater to catch a movie and there are a bunch worth seeing right now: Edgar Wright's wildly fun caper flick Baby Driver (the inspiration for which came from a Jon Spencer Blues Explosion song); Sofia Coppola's acclaimed The Beguiled (starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell, Kirstin Dunst, and Elle Fanning); and The Big Sick which stars and was written by Silicon Valley's Kumail Nanjiani.

For all of tonight's shows, and tomorrow's, check out our NYC concert calendar.

For laughs, check out the NYC Comedy calendar too.
