What's going on Monday?

UNI
UNI

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Uni @ Baby’s All Right
You may remember that Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger’s Charlotte Kemp Muhl and guitarist David Strange (ex Courtney Love’s band) made a collaborative EP a few years back. That pairing has flowered into an actual band who, along with singer Nico Fuzz, are called Uni. Check out their glitter-strewn, outer space glam at this free early show (6 PM doors).

Earth Wind & Fire, Chic ft. Nile Rodgers @ MSG
If you like ’70s funk, tonight’s show — featuring two of the the decade’s heaviest hitters — should be a nonstop party.

Ice Balloons, POW!, Chorizo, Grill Cloth @ Baby’s All Right
TV on the Radio’s Kyp Malone fronts Ice Balloons, a gonzo acid-trip band that also have a gonzo live show. They play tonight with California synth-punks POW!, and Chorizo (OJ from Xray Eyeballs).

Herbie Hancock @ Beacon Theatre
While best known as a jazz keyboardist, Herbie Hancock has successfully dabbled in R&B, funk, and pop, He’s a legend.

Night Train w/ Wyatt Cenac @ Littlefield
Night Train host Wyatt Cenac welcomes guests Adam Newman, Phil Hanley, Maria Heinegg, and Noyne Brown-West tonight.

Craig Wedren (ex-Shudder to Think) @ Ops Pizza
You may know Craig as frontman for Shudder to Think, or for doing the music for Wet Hot American Summer or GLOW. Tonight he performs one of his Sabbath Sessions shows where he does “live spontaneous vocal looping meditations.”
