You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Lady Gaga @ Citi Field
Lady Gaga is on a massive headlining tour supporting last year’s Joanne, home of the danceable “Perfect Illusion,” the heartbreaking ballad “Million Reasons,” and more. She plays NYC’s Citi Field tonight and tomorrow.

Sound of Ceres, Foxes in Fiction ALPHAVILLE
Sound of Ceres, the new band from Candy Claws’ Karen Hover and Ryan Hover, that also features The Drums’ Jacob Graham and Apples In Stereo’s Ben Phelan, will release their second album, The Twin, on October 6 and are in the midst of a Monday residency at Alphaville. Expect lasers to be incorporated into the proceedings.

Liars LP release party w/ Angus Andrew DJ @ Brooklyn Night Bazaar
One of the great bands spawned from the early-’00s Brooklyn scene, Liars celebrate the release of their terrific new LP, TFCF with this party in Brooklyn Bazaar’s downstairs room. In keeping with the album’s artwork, there will be cake and Angus Andrew will DJ…in a wedding dress? Show up and find out, it’s free.

Night Train w/ Wyatt Cenac @ Littlefield
Tonight, Wyatt Cenac invites Jacqueline Novak, Louis Katz, Jaboukie Young-White, Paige Weldon, Kevin Barnett and more aboard the Night Train.

Doug Tuttle, Sunburned Hand of the Man @ Rough Trade
Doug Tuttle’s jangly style owes much to The Byrds, George Harrison and other 12-string slingers, as can be heard on his latest album for Trouble in Mind, Peace Potato.

Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, The Edgar Winter Band @ PNC Bank Arts Center
Deep Purple and Alice Cooper, two bands that are both staples of classic rock radio but also highly influential on heavy metal, are currently a co-headlining tour with veteran blues rockers The Edgar Winter Band opening.

Tiny Hazard, Loud Relations, Kiril Orenstein, Nick Joswiak @ Sunnyvale
Earlier this year, Tiny Hazard released Greyland, a dose of arty, eccentric pop that Kate Bush and Bjork fans may dig.
