You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows, but here are some highlights...

Yo La Tengo @ Bowery Ballroom
Yo La Tengo’s annual Hanukkah run shows at Maxwell’s in Hoboken were the stuff of legend. Surprise openers! Comedians! Special mix CDs every night! Five years later, Yo La Tengo have brought Hanukkah shows back, now at Bowery Ballroom. It’s the run's penultimate night — who do you think will be tonight’s opener comedian and encore guest?

LCD Soundsystem @ Brooklyn Steel
It’s been quite a year for James Murphy who came back with a fourth LCD Soundsystem album, American Dream, that ended up being worth the grief of their “comeback” after breaking up in 2011. They wrap up their 2017 with a 10-night run on their home turf, this being Night 6.

Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, DJ Austin Millz, Lil Skies @ Terminal 5
Frequent collaborators Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti both released some of the most popular and most acclaimed rap songs of the year, and now they're on tour with each other (not for the first time). This is their second show of the week at NYC's huge Terminal 5.

Jenny Hval @ National Sawdust
Norwegian art pop musician Jenny Hval is in the US, having just played the Day for Night festival over the weekend, and before she returns home, she stops in NYC tonight. She released the great Blood Bitch last year, and she sang on the new Kelly Lee Owens and Lindstrom albums this year.

Insecure Men, Sloppy Jane @ Elsewhere
Insecure Men is the solo project of Fat White Family's Saul Adamczewski; Sloppy Jane put on one of the more memorable, clothing-optional shows you're likely to see tonight.

Mark Kozelek & Kevin Corrigan (sing Christmas songs) @ The Roxy Hotel
For those who enjoyed Mark Kozelek‘s 2014 album of Christmas carols, he’s playing this special holiday show where he'll be joined by actor Kevin Corrigan as well as Ben Boye (who played on the collaborative album with Mark and Jim White) and “a few unannounced guests.” The Mark Kozelek Sings Christmas Carols album is part of the set plus a few holiday-themed originals.

John Early, Vanessa Bayer, Cecily Strong, Kyle Mooney, Jon Glaser, Julio Torres @ Town Hall
The great John Early (Search Party) hosts this very promising night of comedy that's a benefit for the ACLU.

Los Lobos @ City Winery
Los Angles rock vets Los Lobos continue their annual City Winery residency tonight.

Butterboy w/ Jo Firestone, Aprna Nancherla and Maeve Higgings @ Littlefield
Tonight Jo, Aparna and Maeve welcome Naomi Ekperigin, Ashley Brooke Roberts, Joel Kim Booster, Tim Harmston, Adam Newman, and Nicole Boyce for this holiday edition of Butterboy.

The NY Theremin Society: Dorit Chrysler & Rob Schwimmer's Winter Wonderland @ Joe's Pub
This is somebody's dream (and probably a record made in 1962): Christmas music performed by the most otherworldly of electronic instruments, the theremin. Actually multiple theremins tonight.
