What's Going on Monday?

Sorority Noise at Shea Stadium
Sorority Noise at Shea Stadium in 2016 (more by Amanda Hatfield)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Sorority Noise, Remo Drive, Jelani Sei, Animal Flag @ Baby’s All Right
Modern-day emo faves Sorority Noise are going on hiatus after this tour ends, so these are your very last chances to catch them for what may be a while. Tonight’s their first of two Brooklyn shows. SN fans will most likely dig the likeminded Remo Drive and Animal Flag too, and while the groovy Jelani Sei are stylistically different, their set is very much worth catching as well.

Dave Davies @ City Winery
The former Kink (we’re still crossing our fingers for a reunion) plays favorites from his days with Ray and solo songs too.

Dashboard Confessional, Beach Slang, Kississippi @ Stone Pony
Nostalgia-inducing emo vets Dashboard Confessional will headline this show, and both openers are great too. There’s roaring, singalong punks Beach Slang, and new-ish indie rockers Kississippi, who have an anticipated new album on the way.

Scott Rogowsky, Desus & Mero, Soledad O’Brien, Marc Summers, Nikki Glaser @ Gramercy Theatre
You may know Scott Rogowski from trivia game app HQ, but Scott also has a live talk show, “Running Late,” which mixes conversation and comedy.

Butterboy with Jo, Aparna and Maeve @ Littlefield
This week Butterboy Comedy welcomes Clark Jones, Casey James Salengo, Nate Fernald, Claudia Cogan, Cara Weinberger, Marie Faustin, and more TBA.
