You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows, but here are some highlights...

BV Presents: X, Dead Rock West @ Irving Plaza
LA punk icons X are back with Billy Zoom and we're pleased as punch to be presenting tonight's show. One of the greats.

The Go-Go's (farewell tour), Best Coast, Kaya Stewart @ Central Park SummerStage
The long-running new wavers will soon be going going gone, as a group, so go and sing along to "Our Lips are Sealed," "Head Over Heels," "We Got the Beat." Also: Jane Weidlin's just one of the coolest people ever. Best Coast makes for a nice double bill, and being in the park should dissuade a little of today's oppressive temperatures.

Ian Sweet, Swings, Plush, Long Beard @ Elvis Guesthouse
Ian Sweet are new to the Hardly Art stable, mixing big hooks with off-kilter arrangements. Tonight's show is with San Francisco's Plush (not the later-'90s orch-pop singer).

blink-182, All American Rejects, A Day To Remember, All Time Low @ Jones Beach
blink-182 co-frontman Tom Delonge may be sorely missed from the band's current lineup, but, musically speaking, their new album has put them back in the spotlight more than they've been since their prime era.

Parquet Courts, Decisions, Jordonna @ Market Hotel
Parquet Courts current album Human Performance is the band's best since Light Up Gold, letting a little emotion into the band's signature ironic distance. It's going to be a total sweatbox at Market Hotel, which could make for a memorable night.

Special Request, Doc Scott, Mumdance b2b Logos, Sadaf, SHYBOI @ MoMA PS1
The weekly Warm Up dance parties under the sun in MoMA PS1's courtyard continue today, and afterwards...

Mumdance & Logos, Alex English, Jergo @ Slake can keep the part going with Mumdance & Logos at Slake.

Mahogany, Heaven, New Myths, Tender Age @ Shea Stadium
It's been eight years since dreampop duo Mahogany gave us the fantastic Connectivity! and they're promising a followup soon. We sure hope so. Catch up with them tonight, along with a complimentary rest of the bill.

The Avett Brothers @ The Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk
The folk rockin’ Avett Brothers keep getting bigger and tonight headline this seaside concert venue.

Palehound, The Lemon Twigs, Heliotropes, Witch Coast, Gold Connections @ Trans-Pecos
The heat has moved this day show indoors into the AC, which sounds a little more tollerable. Indoors or out this is great lineup. Noon - 6:30 PM.

Boss Hog, Baby Shakes @ Union Pool (Summer Thunder)
It's the final Summer Thunder party of the season, and it's a pretty great way to go out, with Jon Spencer & Cristina Martinez' rockin' Boss Hog. Free, 2 PM.

Cough, Hasj, Lucid Terror @ Union Pool
Cough's new album was produced by Electric Wizard's Jus Osborn, and it certainly sounds quite a bit like that band, but Cough really know how to do that sound well.

Barbra Streisand @ Barclays Center
Babs are Barclays is pretty Brooklyn.

Siege, Ultramantis Black, Lunglust, Behind Bars @ Sunnyvale Brooklyn
With vocalist Mark Fields of Proclamation (the hardcore band on Bridge 9, not the death metal band) in place of the late Kevin Mahoney and Seth Putnam, grindcore legends Siege will roll into NYC.

Andra Day, Son Little @ Prospect Park Bandshell
Andra Day has a soulful sound that's somewhere between Adele and Rihanna, and if you think that sounds too far-fetched, you probably just haven't listened.
