You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows, but here are some highlights...

Broken Social Scene, Melissa Laveaux, The East Pointers @ Central Park SummerStage (2 PM)
Broken Social Scene returned last year with the post-hiatus album Hug of Thunder, which is some of their most accessible music yet. Today, they play a free daytime show in Central Park for Canada Day with two other Canadian acts.

U2 @ Madison Square Garden
Nearly 40 years into their career, U2 remain one of the biggest rock bands on the planet. They wrap up their NYC-area visit tonight with this third MSG show.

Julie Byrne, Bing & Ruth, Yumi Zouma (DJ) @ National Sawdust
This is the release party for Cascine and Stadiums & Shrines' compilation album Dreams, with live sets from folk singer Julie Byrne and ambient ensemble Bing & Ruth, and a DJ set from Yumi Zouma, all three of whom are on the album.

Smoke DZA, Bodega Bamz @ SOB's
Smoke DZA and Bodega Bamz are two regulars of NYC's ever-thriving rap scene, and they've been on a tour together, which hits their shared hometown tonight.

Algiers, Retconned, Lower Interiors @ Elsewhere Zone One
Georgia's Algiers aren't easy to categorize: soulful yet decidedly gothy, as heard on their latest album for Matador, The Underside of Power.

Olafur Arnalds, Manu Delago @ Warsaw
Ólafur and his team of fellow musicians present “ALL STRINGS ATTACHED," which will feature past, present and brand new material from his forthcoming album. Tonight's show is part of Le Poisson Rouge's LPR X 10th anniversary series. Moved from Murmrr Theatre to Warsaw.

Bonobo, Machinedrum, Matthew Dear, Daktyl @ Brooklyn Mirage
Tonight, Brooklyn Mirage hosts a very solid quadruple bill of producers/DJs who often lean on the IDM/ambient/downtempo side of things.

Lupe Fiasco @ Asbury Lanes
Lupe Fiasco came out swinging in the mid 2000s, but his career fell into mediocrity a bit on later albums, before Lupe made a pretty significant comeback on last year's Drogas Light. Still riding high off the strength of that album, he plays the recently-reopened Asbury Lanes tonight.

White Denim @ The Surf Lodge
Like every summer, Montauk restaurant/hotel/vacation spot The Surf Lodge has concerts on weekends, and today they've got Austin rockers White Denim.
