Jawbreaker, War on Women, Pohgoh @ Brooklyn Steel
Jawbreaker finally reunited after 20+ years in 2017, and their recent shows have been genuinely great. They’re back in Brooklyn for two shows this weekend, and they’ve got killer openers. War On Women released one of the best punk albums of 2018 with Capture The Flag, and Pohgoh are also back from a long hiatus and released a very good album last year. This is their second of two shows.

Come Together: Music Festival and Label Market @ MoMA PS1
Other Music and MoMA’s two-day ‘Come Together’ music festival and indie label market wraps up today with performances by Beijing duo Gong Gong Gong, a quadraphonic video installation by Dublab, plus DJs, art, zines and more. The label market features booths from 75 independent labels.

Hamish Kilgour, Mark Tester @ Secret Project Robot
As drummer for The Clean, Hamish Kilgour rep is set for life, but he’s also fronted The Mad Scene, and last year released very good solo album Finkelstein.

#ADULTING with Michelle Buteau and Jordan Carlos (two shows) @ Union Hall
Michelle Buteau and Jordan Carlos tape two episodes of their podcast #ADULTING tonight: the 5:00 PM show features guests Jessica Kirson, Naomi Ekperigin, and Franchesca Ramsey; while the 7:30 PM show features Dulce Sloan and Irene Bremis.

Norman Westberg, DBUK @ WFMU Monty Hall
Onetime Swans guitarist Norman Westberg will make a stop in Jersey City tonight with Denver-based DBUK, which features members of Slim Cessna’s Auto Club.

John Cooper Clarke @ Joe’s Pub
Salford, UK’s legendary punk poet, Dr. John Cooper Clarke, returns to Joe’s Pub for a night of prose, profanity and more.

Jose James @ Iridium (two shows)
Neo-soul great Jose James is no stranger to tribute shows and albums, and this week he’s doing a run of shows at the Iridium paying tribute to soul legend Bill Withers.
