What's going on Sunday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Frankie Rose, TEEN, Honduras, EZTV, Pill, The Britanys, Boytoy, Weekender, The Teen Age, Dead Stars @ The Vander Ende-Onderdonk House (Out in the Streets Festival)
It’s Day 2 of the Out in the Streets Festival at the historic Vander Ende-Onderdonk House. Between Frankie Rose, TEEN, Honduras, EZTV, and Pill, your entrance fee is worth it right there.

The Cowboy Junkies @ City Winery
Best known for their haunting cover of Lou Reed’s “Sweet Jane,” Cowboy Junkies have remained prolific since their prime late ’80s/early ’90s era, most recently releasing The Kennedy Suite in 2013 and Margot Timmins’ voice remains just as beautiful.

Coldplay, Alessia Cara, Foxes @ MetLife Stadium
Arena pop rockers Coldplay descend upon the NYC-area for two nights at the MetLife Stadium this weekend. “Here” hitmaker Alessia Cara provides direct support. This is night 2.

Jane’s Addiction, Dinosaur Jr. @ The Capitol Theatre
It’s a double bill of veteran alt-rock, with Jane’s Addiction who are playing 1990’s beloved Ritual de lo habitual in full, and Dinosaur Jr who have an anticipated new album coming out. It’s the third of three shows in the NYC-area.

Winter Break, MakeWar, Katie Ellen, Couple Hundo, Hiccup @ Aviv
This is a pretty cool bill all around of real-deal pop punk, headlined by California’s Winter Break.

Chuck Inglish, K.A.A.N., Josh Sallee, J Cobb @ Baby’s All Right
Indie-rap duo The Cool Kids are finally set to reunite, but first Chuck Inglish will release a new solo album. Maybe we’ll hear some songs off that tonight.

Margo Price @ The Wonder Bar
Having just played a free NYC show with Deer Tick, country breakout Margo Price plays a smaller show nearby in Asbury Park.

Old Lines, Prisoner, Mary Todd @ Saint Vitus
Baltimore’s Old Lines is the current band of Mitch Roemer (ex-Pulling Teeth, Ruiner), and they make blaring metallic hardcore.

Stretch Armstrong, DJ Lindsey @ LeFrak Center at Lakeside Prospect Park
The bi-monthly roller-skating and DJ parties at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside Prospect Park continue today.

Chris Gethard @ Shea Stadium
The very funny Chris Gethard has a show on Fusion, a comedy album on Don Giovanni, and he hangs with cool punk bands. Tonight he’ll perform at Bushwick DIY venue Shea Stadium.
