You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows, but here are some highlights...

Bon Iver, Lonnie Holley @ Pioneer Works
Bon Iver's experimental, heavily electronic new album 22, A Million is like nothing he's done before, and it's yet another excellent Bon Iver album in its very own way. Tonight he begins a run of TEN NYC-area shows, with various openers. This show's got cult artist Lonnie Holley.

Windhand, Ilsa, Backwoods Payback @ Saint Vitus
Windhand make melodic doom that's often closer to heavy psychedelic rock than "metal," but whatever you wanna call it, they rip. This is their second of two NYC shows this week with DC death metal crushers Ilsa.

YOA RA UKA (w/ Yoshimio, Yuka C. Honda), Jaiko & Benoit @ National Sawdust
Cibo Matto's Yuka Honda joins Boredoms Yoshimio for her YOA RA UKA project, a two-drummer-and-bass attack which should be something.

75 Dollar Bill, Sue Garner & Ted Reichman @ Union Pool
This is the first of droney/beautiful experimental duo 75 Dollar Bill's three-Sunday December residency at Union Pool.

Ilana Glazer, Naomi Ekperigin, Pat Brown, Sean Patton, Zenobia @ Littlefield
Ilana Glazer of Broad City hosts and organized this ACLU fundraiser featuring all manner of funny folk. Sold out.

Mike Birbiglia, Eugene Mirman, Jon Ronson, Todd Barry, Aparna Nancherla, Maeve Higgins @ The Bell House
Mike Birbiglia headlines this  benefit that also features Jon Ronson, Eugene Mirman, Maeve Higgins, Todd Barry, Aparna Nancherla, Mehran Khaghani and Tanael Joachim. All proceeds go to Inara which helps refugee children from the Syrian war.

Mike Birbiglia @ Union Hall
Before the Bell House benefit, Mike will be "Working it Out" with new material, a regular thing he does at Union Hall. Sold out, of course.

Flatbush Zombies @ The Paramount
New York rap group Flatbush Zombies returned this year with 3001: A Laced Odyssey, which proves their wacky, druggy sound is as strong as ever. Tonight they play Long Island.
