What's going on Sunday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Steve Gunn, Lee Ranaldo, Meg Baird @ The Park Church Co-Op
It’s a great night of guitars and voices as Steve Gunn, Lee Ranaldo and Meg Baird bring their solo tour to church.

Cold Cave, Drab Majesty @ Saint Vitus
Dark synth pop artist Cold Cave last played NYC at Webster Hall, and tonight he’s back for a show at a much smaller venue (and one much better suited for his sound), Saint Vitus. It’ll be opened by the likeminded Drab Majesty, who released their new album The Demonstration on Friday. Sold out.

Jorja Smith @ SOB’s
UK soul/R&B singer Jorja Smith left quite a mark last year with her Project II EP and a few non-EP singles, which should appeal to any fans of classic ’70s soul to Erykah Badu/Lauryn Hill to modern revivalists like Frank Ocean and Solange. Tonight’s her second of two NYC shows this month.

Steve Earle, Jackie Greene @ City Winery
Folk veteran Steve Earle does a residency at City Winery every winter, and the 2017 edition continues tonight.

TV Girl, Yohuna, Poppet @ Berlin
Sardonic pop act TV Girl most recent album, Who Really Cares, features 10 examples of their signature, irresistible mix of ’60s-inspired pop melodies, hip hop production, clever samples, and enough tales of sexual deviants, bad relationships and other weirdos to fill a Chuck Palahniuk or J.G. Ballard novel.

Emily Reo, Frame, Soft Ethnic, Tocca @ Trans-Pecos
Orchid Tapes artist Emily Reo makes dreamy avant-pop, and plays a hometown show tonight.

For laughs, check out the NYC Comedy calendar too.
