You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows, but here are some highlights...

Bernie Sanders Rally feat. Grizzly Bear (music starts at 3pm), Danny DeVito, Justin Long, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard @ Prospect Park
What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than seeing Grizzly Bear's first hometown show in a while at a Bernie Sanders rally? They recently said they have a new album on the way, but this performance will likely just have a few old faves (but who knows?).

Bernie Sanders Fundraiser ft. Washer, Shana Falana, Leapling, Palberta, World of Darkness @ Rough Trade
Bernie will unlikely be at this fundraiser (but who knows?) but the bands, including the gothy Shana Falana are all pretty good.

The Mountain Goats, William Tyler @ City Winery
The consistently great Mountain Goats returned last year with the very solid Beat The Champ. Tonight they begin a sold-out three-night run at City Winery with guitar master William Tyler.

Death Side, Tetsu Arrey, Butcher, Aspects of War, Red Death, Power Trip @ Le Poisson Rouge
Japanese hardcore band Death Side have been at it for quite a while (1991’s Bet On The Possibility is an especially great record), but they’ve never played the US. That finally changes this weekend with two sold-out shows at LPR, this being the second. There are a lot of good openers tonight, but we especially think you should get there on time for Texas thrashers Power Trip.

Fetty Wap @ Stage 48
This late-night show (10 PM) is the “Prostyle Celebrity Birthday Bash" and it includes a set by 2015's pop-rap breakout Fetty Wap.

Huey Lewis and The News @ Wellmont Theatre
Whether it's actually hip to be square, it was certainly profitable for Huey Lewis whose good-guy image (and way with a catchy song) made him one of the '80s most successful hitmakers.

"Nearness and You” ft. Roy Nathanson, Marc Ribot, Arturo O'Farrill, Curtis Fowlkes & Anthony Coleman @ Littlefield
This is a "one night reprise of Roy Nathanson's week residency at the Stone in June 2015 - a night of improvisation including a variety of interpretations of "Nearness of You" and original compositions in duo and as a full band."

Mike Birbiglia @ The Lynn Redgrave Theater
Comedian Mike Birbiglia has been doing his show “Thank God for the Jokes” for nearly two years. He’s putting it to bed, but not before this run which was recently extended through May.

Denzel Curry, Allan Kingdom, JK the Reaper, SDotBraddy @ Gramercy Theatre
Florida rapper Denzel Curry just gets better and better, as this year's super solid Imperial mixtape continues to prove. Allan Kingdom, who a lot of the world first heard on Kanye West‘s “All Day,” also recently released his own new mixtape Northern Lights.

'The Hum' w/ Kimbra + Kiran Gandhi + Tiff Lamson + Alissia Benveniste + Olga Bell + Anna Wise; Mirah + Sara Lucas (Callers) + Katy Mohanty (Parlor Walls); Amy Garapic (Tigue) + Eliza Bagg (Pavo Pavo) + Elori Kramer (Alpenglow) @ Manhattan Inn
'The Hum' is an all-women series of unique collaborations with a mix of original songs and improvised material. Tonight's has an improvised jam from Kimbra, Olga Bell, Anna Wise and more, plus another set led by Mirah and still much more.

Pallbearer, Graves at Sea, Order of the Owl, Fórn @ Saint Vitus
Pallbearer set themselves apart from the masses of doom metal bands by writing songs that are genuinely catchy. This is their second of two NYC shows this week, and it’s a good bill all around.

Patti Smith, Waltraud Meier @ National Sawdust (discussion)
Patti Smith is one of the true pioneers of punk rock, a poet, an author, and as important to music today as she was in 1976. Tonight she'll be in conversation with opera singer Waltraud Meier.

"Unlimited MetroCard" @ Max Fish
It's the opening reception of BrooklynVegan contributor Gretchen Robinette's photo exhibition of unposed portraits taken on the NYC subways. 7 - 10 PM.
