What's going on Thursday?

Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats at Music Hall of Williamsburg

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Slaughter Beach Dog (solo), The Sidekicks (solo) @ Asbury Park Brewery
Slaughter Beach, Dog leader and Modern Baseball co-frontman Jake Ewald is on a solo tour with The Sidekicks frontman Steve Ciolek, and it should be cool to see these two in a stripped-down environment like this.

Graveyard, Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats, Demob Happy @ Brooklyn Steel
For doomy ’70s style hard rock riffage, it doesn’t get much better than a co-headlining tour from Uncle Acid and Graveyard.

Leikeli47, Yung Baby Tate, Nyemiah Supreme, Rel Carter @ Elsewhere Hall
Masked rapper Leikeli47 is still riding high off the strength of last year’s great Acrylic, and she’s bigger than ever. She plays hometown shows at Elsewhere Hall tonight and 4/2, and both are sold out.

Face to Face @ Saint Vitus
Cali punk vets Face to Face are beginning a three-night run at the intimate (for their standards) Saint Vitus, and they’re playing a different album each night. Tonight they’re doing their latest LP, 2016’s Protection.

Jo Schornikow, Erin Durant, .michael. @ Baby’s All Right
Indie folk singers and Keeled Scales labelmates Jo Schornikow and Erin Durant both have promising new albums on the way this year, and seeing them on the same bill should make for a very enjoyable show.

Donny McCaslin, Noveller @ BRIC House
Saxophonist and bandleader Donny McCaslin will perform songs from last year’s Blow tonight with a video installation by Johnny Moreno; innovative guitarist Sarah Lipstate opens with her project Noveller.

Prefuse 73, FaltyDL, live T + Funky Seshwa with Marley Marl @ Good Room
Tonight’s show spans generations of acclaimed DJs and producers, from hip hop to dance…Marley Marl leads the “Funky Seshwa” in the Bad Room, and open format set which includes live trumpet.

PAT Party, JD Samson @ Union Pool
It’s the March edition of JD Samson’s monthly PAT Party, featuring “good vibes, good sound, video projection by local video artists and DJ’s that aren’t afraid to go deep.”

James Acaster: Cold Lasagna Hate Myself 1999 @ Littlefield
This is a very intimate show for popular UK comedian James Acaster where he’ll perform his Chortle Award-winning standup set about “the best year of my life and the worst year of my life.”
