What’s going on Thursday?
You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows, but here are some highlights...
Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def) @ Apollo Theater
The artist formerly known as Mos Def says he’s giving up show biz and that tonight will be his last ever show in NYC. It's also his first show since releasing his new album, December 99th.
Dalek, HPrizm, Netherlands, John Morrison, Antipop Consortium @ The Studio at Webster Hall
Industrial rap group Dalek returned this year with their first album since hiatus, Asphalt For Eden, and it has them sounding as great and weird as ever. They graced their hometown with a lot of shows this year, and tonight they'll do it one more time before the holidays.
Lil Durk, That Guy WISE, Grafh, DJ Don Q @ Irving Plaza
Chicago rapper Lil Durk released his newest album, Lil Durk 2X, earlier this year. Among other things, it's home to his great Dej Loaf collab "My Beyonce." Tonight's show is a rescheduled date after he postponed his November 8 show.
Matishayu @ City Winery
As usual, Matishyahu celebrates Hanukkah with his 'Festival of Lights' shows in NYC. This time he's doing a three-night run at City Winery, beginning tonight.
Crazy Spirit, Shimmer, Suspect, Dead Companionship @ Sunnyvale
Sunnyvale hosts a punk show tonight, headlined by local staples Crazy Spirit.
