You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Radiohead, Junun @ Madison Square Garden
Radiohead kick off their four-night, sold-out MSG run tonight.

Phoenix, Giorgio Poi @ Brooklyn Steel
Meanwhile, Phoenix wrap up their five-night stay at Brooklyn Steel.

Anticon Records co-founder Brendon Whitney who also released records as Alias, was sadly taken from us earlier this year. Tonight friends, family and admirers pay tribute to him, with proceeds going to his family.

Shilpa Ray, Lola Pistola, Thelma @ Elsewhere (Zone One)
A one-of-a-kind performer and vocalist, Shilpa Ray recently released a new EP and celebrates tonight (which is a makeup show from a month ago).

Joan As Police Woman, Anni Rossi @ Nublu 151
An in-demand instrumentalist who has worked with Antony, Scissor Sisiters, Lou Reed (and was a member of ’90s indie rockers The Dambuilders), Joan Wasser makes her own sophisticated pop as Joan as Policewoman.

Las Hormiguitas, Honey, Giggly Boys @ Union Pool
Las Hormiguitas make greasy surf garage, while Honey mine Detroit punk for their own revved up purposes.

Kooley High, The Doppelgangaz, Melanie Charles, Nappy Nina @ Baby’s All Right
Tonight, Baby’s hosts an appealing indie-rap show, headlined by Raleigh group Kooley High, whose recent album Never Come Down features production from the 9th Wonder production team, a feature from Rapsody, and more. NY duo The Doppelgangaz (who released AAAAGGGHH earlier this year) is strong direct support.

Springsteen on Broadway
The Boss continues his sold-out “Springsteen on Broadway” run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, which has now been extended through December. At these shows, Bruce is giving fans shows “that are as personal and as intimate as possible.”

Sweet @ The Slipper Room
After a week off, Seth Herzog (The Tonight Show) brings Sweet back to the Slipper Room, with The Tonight Show’s hilarious co-producer Mike Dicenzo, Ronny Chieng, whose Daily Show segment “Today’s Future Now” has continued to brilliantly satirize our terrifying tech overlords, Jackie Tohn (Glow), Ben Kronberg (CC Half Hour), LA’s Chris Thayer (Adam Devine’s House Party, Flophouse), and Lucas Connolly.

Divine Comedy @ DTUT
Dan Fitzpatrick (Above Average, The National Lampoon) hosts this free monthly showcase on the Upper East Side, featuring comics from all walks of Late Night. This month’s showcase features Emmy Blotnick (Late Show with Stephen Colbert), Mike Drucker (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), J-L Cauvin (Late Late Show), Calvin S. Cato (Vice), and Will Abeles.
