Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra @ Le Poisson Rouge (2 shows)
Actor, philosopher, zen master and all-around cool cat Jeff Goldblum is also a musician and tinkles the ivories with his jazz band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. They released their debut album, The Capitol Studio Sessions, back in November which is a live-in-the-studio ode to the days of cocktail jazz, lounge lizards and bachelor pads.

“It’s 212 Day” w/ A$AP Rocky & Dapper Dan (Q&A), Fab 5 Freddy, more @ Terminal 5
“It’s 212 Day” celebrates Harlem culture and style. The evening, hosted by Fab Five Freddy, will feature a roundtable with A$AP Rocky and Dapper Dan, as well as “curated artifacts of OG Harlem,” and special performances from Sheck Wes, Teyana Taylor, Crystal Caines, Odalys and more.

PC Worship, Deradoorian @ Union Pool
Experimental art-punks PC Worship headline this free show that also includes an opening set from Deradoorian…8 PM doors.

Xavier and Friends: Ladies of Soul Tribute 2019-Special Aretha Edition @ Joe’s Pub
Singer Xavier Smith has been hosting special Valentine’s Day shows at Joe’s Pub for years and this year is a tribute to Aretha Franklin. Past “friends” have included Lena Hall, Stephin Merritt, Joan As Policewoman, Sxip Shirey, Lady Rizo, and more, so you never know who may show up.
