What's going on Tuesday?

Spiral Stairs
Spiral Stairs

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Spiral Stairs (Pavement), Hamish Kilgour, Dumb Wolves @ Mercury Lounge
Scott Kanneberg just released his second solo album under his old Spiral Stairs moniker and it owes more to The Cars and Tom Petty than his band Pavement, not that there’s anything wrong with that (it’s a lot of fun). He plays tonight with Hamish Kilgour whose band The Clean was certainly a big influence on Pavement.

Ryley Walker, Corsano/Holmes/Ward Trio, Special Guests @ Union Pool
Ryley wraps up his Union Pool residency tonight, where he’ll play collaborative sets and invite up some surprise guests, too.

Steve Earle @ The Loft at City Winery
This intimate, sold-out show is an exclusive for City Winery’s Vinofile members but it’s also going to be streamed live on WFUV (8 PM).

Girlpool, Lion Babe, Melii, Bri Steves, Victory @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
TIDAL and Pitchfork are presenting this show in celebration of Women’s History Month, including a genre-defying bill with indie rock from Girlpool, R&B from Lion Bape, hip hop from Melii, and more.

Yves Tumor @ National Sawdust
Yves Tumor released one of our favorite albums of 2018 with the experimental pop of Safe In the Hands of Love, and now he’s playing two shows at National Sawdust this week: a full-band show last night and an A/V set featuring Ezra Miller tonight.

Shlohmo @ Trans-Pecos
Having just released his new album The End on Friends of Friends/WeDidIt this past Friday, LA producer Shlohmo comes to Ridgewood for a sold-out release show tonight.
